Knights of the Zodiac—overview of periodic game content
Saint Seiya Awakening: knights of the zodiac contains a lot of cool content, but some of it is only available during certain times. Here follows a detailed introduction on each one of them.
1. Sacred duel (unlocks at level 20)
Event period: All day
Sacred duel uses cross-server matchmaking. Players from different servers can compete and communicate with each other in real time. Players can use their own saints to fight, and the system will provide 3 assist saints every week. All saints have their level, skills and awakening scaled to the same level. Bonus attributes from common Cosmo and basic attributes of legendary Cosmo have been removed, but special attributes of legendary Cosmo are kept. Tap on a saint in the lineup menu to check his/her Cosmo and skill info.
This game mode can be accessed directly from the PvP portal, or by talking to Aiolia who is a guide NPC in the town.

Sacred duel has seven divisions: apprentice, elite, expert, master, guru, vanquisher, and legendary. Getting promoted to a new division for the first time grants you considerable rewards.

2. Galactic Duel (unlocks at level 18)
Event period: 12:00-14:00 & 19:00-22:00 every day
This is your conventional PvP ladder. In addition to regular battle rewards, you can also get end-of-season rewards containing vast amounts of diamonds. Access it by tapping the PvP button in the bottom-right corner of the screen and enter via the galactic arena icon; or by talking to Camus who is an NPC in the town. The Galactic Duel is available between 12:00-13:00 and 20:00-21:30 every day.

3. Legion Boss (unlocks at level 24)
Event period: the default setting is 19:00-20:00 every day, but this can be adjusted by the legion commander.
To participate in legion boss, you have to join a legion (unlocks at level 14) and be at least level 24. All members of a legion join forces against the powerful boss—Inferno Cerberus—from another dimension. The default availability time is 19:00-20:00 every day. Legion commanders can adjust it themselves. The challenge lasts for one hour. The boss level scales according to the overall strength of legion members who participate in the battle.
4. Legion War (unlocks at level 20)
Event period: 20:00-20:20 every Saturday
In the competitive Legion War, two legions compete for resources on an open map. Legions have to have more than 20 members to participate. After two legions have been successfully matched, their members need to collect crystals on the map to earn points. Points can also be earned by killing members of the opposing legion. Whichever legion gets to 5,000 points first wins. If neither side reaches 5,000 by the end of the game, the side with the most points wins.
5. Legion Conquest (unlocks at level 20)
Event period: 20:30-22:00 every Friday and Saturday
In the competitive Legion Conquest, legions are pitted against each other in the ultimate test of their strength. Awesome rewards will be given to the top 3 legions. There are four steps for participating: sign-up, draw, lineup, and promotion.
1. [Sign-up]: All legion commanders on the server can sign their legion up through the legion conquest page every Monday and Tuesday, and the top 16 legions with the highest sign-up points by the end of the sign-up will be selected to participate in that week's conquest.
2. [Draw]: On Wednesday, legion commanders that have successfully registered in the week can draw to determine the battle position of their legion.
3. [Lineup]: Each legion dispatches 5 parties to fight five battles: 1v1, 1v1, 2v2, 2v2, and 3v3. Legion commanders of participating legions need to perform lineup actions every Thursday and dispatch members to join the battles.
4. [Promotion]: the top 16 and the quarterfinals are held on Friday evenings. The semifinals and the final are held on Saturday evenings.
Each legion dispatches 5 parties to fight five battles: 1v1, 1v1, 2v2, 2v2, and 3v3. Whether a legion gets promoted depends on their battle performance.
6. Virgo Shaka's Quiz (unlocks at level 15)
Event period: 13:00-13:30 every Saturday and Sunday
The quiz is available from 13:00-13:30 on weekends. Questions will be generated at random, and players can get rewards up to 10 times by answering correctly. You can choose to pass a question if you don't know the answer, and this does count towards the number of times you can get rewards. The first few answers given by players in your legion will be displayed for reference.
Correct answers all grant rewards, and these rewards contain Saint experience and gold.
7. Great Sanctuary Adventure (unlocks at level 19)
Event period: 10:00-22:00 every Saturday and Sunday
This event is only available on Saturdays and Sundays. Saint shards is the main item drops. You also need a party of 3 members to take part. The order in which players throw the dice is randomized, and each player takes steps equal to the number of pips shown on the dice. More rewards are gained by occupying more chests. This works similar to monopoly. Access it at the town NPC Aries Mu, or from the limited time events menu. You need to manually claim your event rewards from the NPC.
8. Astral Cycle (unlocks at level 27)
Event period: 12:00-24:00 every day
Available 12:00-24:00 every day. You need to be in a party of at least 2 players. There is no limit to the number of times it can be challenged. Each challenge begins from scratch (enemy HP is reset). Each level of rewards can only be claimed once per week. There is only one battle in this instance, which is made up of three waves of enemies. Each wave has a limit of 5 rounds. You win by defeating the enemy before you run out of rounds.
There are 4 levels of rewards. The 4th level grants advanced growth tomes.
