Combat in Saint Seiya Awakening: Knights of the Zodiac is turn based. Each side may control up to 6 characters in a battle. The two opposing teams take turns acting, and once all characters on both teams have acted, a new turn begins.

Hint: The turns on crowd-control skills are calculated according to the actions taken by the character who is being crowd-controlled.
