1. Floors:
You can challenge the Captain's Coffers instance after completing Ancient Ruins floor 8. Challenges cost Stamina and a Captain's Invitation which drops from Ancient Ruins floor 8 and above. Successful challenges grant Gold and Account Experience.
You will need to battle Possessed Tokumaru Tatsumi + 4 monsters. Tokumaru starts the battle with an AoE attack and links himself to the four monsters with vines, thereby sharing damage with them. He will also revive 1 monster every 4 rounds.
The boss will transform once he drops below 50% HP. Upon transformation, the boss will use Soulbind on your Saint with the highest attack. This Saint will then share damage taken by Tokumaru, and if the Saint dies, Tokumaru's HP will return to the amount it was when he bound the Saint.
2. Strategy:
1) The boss will gain 40% damage reduction at the start of the fight, and this is reduced by 10% for every debuff it receives. It is recommended to bring Seiya to apply weaken, which also reduces the boss' damage reduction. You can also equip your attack Saints with Cosmo which can apply debuffs.
2) As Tokumaru shares damage with the monsters, and as they assist him with basic attacks, it is recommended to bring 1 AoE Saint to deal with them quickly.
3) The attacks of both the boss and the monsters apply bleed. If you find it hard to recover your HP, it is recommended to bring either Saori or Mii to purify debuffs.
4) Upon entering phase two, the boss will use Soulbind on your Saint with the highest attack. This Saint will then share damage taken by Tokumaru. If the Saint dies, Tokumaru's HP will return to the amount it was when he bound the Saint. In addition, the transferred damage cannot be shared with vines. There are four ways to deal with this skill:
A) Use Jamian's single-target heals to make sure the bound Saint remains alive.
B) Use Aries Mu's Crystal Wall, which is capable of blocking the transferred damage.
C) Use Saori's Blessed Victory to enable the bound Saint to survive lethal damage and be healed immediately.
D) Deal enough damage to instakill the boss before it begins transferring damage taken.
